Calculate your cumulative CGPA on University of Dhaka's own 4-point scale, weighted by credit hours. Your entries stay in your browser.
Your CGPA is a credit-hour weighted average, not a simple average of your semester GPAs.
Each course contributes grade points × credit hours (its quality points) and your CGPA is
the total quality points divided by the total credit hours attempted.
This is why a 4-credit course moves your CGPA roughly four times as much as a 1-credit lab, and why averaging your semester GPAs directly gives the wrong answer whenever your credit load varies between semesters.
The University Grants Commission of Bangladesh recommends this uniform grading scale, and most public and private universities follow it. Note the unusual 0.25 increments and that D (2.00) rather than 1.00 is the minimum pass.
