BFSU teaches more foreign languages than any other Chinese university. It has been running in Beijing since 1941.
BFSU records results as marks out of 100. Chinese universities generally set the pass at 60. Converting to a 4-point GPA only happens because applications abroad ask for it.
We could not retrieve an official BFSU grading regulation. What the calculator uses is a general convention, not a rule issued by this university. Chinese universities do not share one conversion table, and that is why this figure may not match your records.
The practical step is to get BFSU to issue a transcript stating its calculated GPA, then submit that.
BFSU hosts BFSU Beijing Government Scholarship, which is covered separately on this site.
| Native marking | Percentage out of 100, pass mark 60 |

We publish these openly rather than filling them with guesses. Help us close one.
Reference model only. Tsinghua and Chinese institutions use 100-point marks natively, while conversion to a 4.0 scale can depend on the programme, cohort and receiving institution. Do not present the 4.0 mapping as a universal Tsinghua policy.

No published BFSU table was available to us. Conversion happens internally and varies by institution, which is why the registrar's transcript is the answer.
It will give you an approximation. It will not give you the number BFSU would certify.
