Shanghai University is a large municipal comprehensive institution supported by the city government. It has been running in Shanghai since 1922.
SHU records results as marks out of 100. Chinese universities generally set the pass at 60. A 4-point GPA, when a foreign application asks for one, is derived from those percentage marks.
We could not retrieve an official SHU grading regulation. This page runs on the shared Chinese conversion convention, so treat its output as approximate. Since conversion tables are set locally, a mismatch with your official GPA is entirely possible.
Get the number from SHU in writing. An official transcript settles the question; an online estimate does not.
SHU hosts Shanghai University Shanghai Government Scholarship, which is covered separately on this site.

Reference model only. Tsinghua and Chinese institutions use 100-point marks natively, while conversion to a 4.0 scale can depend on the programme, cohort and receiving institution. Do not present the 4.0 mapping as a universal Tsinghua policy.

None that we could read. The bands are set internally and are not published, so go to the registrar.
As a sanity check it is fine. As evidence in an application it is not, since the underlying conversion is generic.
