The official grade-to-point mapping, how it is applied, and where it comes from.
Reference model only. Tsinghua and Chinese institutions use 100-point marks natively, while conversion to a 4.0 scale can depend on the programme, cohort and receiving institution. Do not present the 4.0 mapping as a universal Tsinghua policy.

Use the percentage printed on your official transcript as the primary figure, and provide the GPA conversion only if the application explicitly asks for one. Chinese transcripts are natively percentage-based and the 4.0 mapping varies between institutions.
