Calculate your cumulative CGPA on Indian Institute of Technology Delhi's own 10-point scale, weighted by credit hours. Your entries stay in your browser.
Your CGPA is a credit-hour weighted average, not a simple average of your semester GPAs.
Each course contributes grade points × credit hours (its quality points) and your CGPA is
the total quality points divided by the total credit hours attempted.
This is why a 4-credit course moves your CGPA roughly four times as much as a 1-credit lab, and why averaging your semester GPAs directly gives the wrong answer whenever your credit load varies between semesters.
IITs generally award grades relative to class performance. Unlike UGC-affiliated universities that use the x 9.5 multiplier, IITs conventionally convert with a straight x 10.
