Calculate your cumulative CGPA on Government College University Lahore's own 4-point scale, weighted by credit hours. Your entries stay in your browser.
Your CGPA is a credit-hour weighted average, not a simple average of your semester GPAs.
Each course contributes grade points × credit hours (its quality points) and your CGPA is
the total quality points divided by the total credit hours attempted.
This is why a 4-credit course moves your CGPA roughly four times as much as a 1-credit lab, and why averaging your semester GPAs directly gives the wrong answer whenever your credit load varies between semesters.
GCU Lahore publishes its academic rules through its official university site. Gradometer uses a 4.0 semester-system model for the public calculator and deliberately avoids asserting a universal CGPA-to-percentage formula without a current examination regulation explicitly stating one.
