Calculate your cumulative CGPA on Ghulam Ishaq Khan Institute of Engineering Sciences and Technology's own 4-point scale, weighted by credit hours. Your entries stay in your browser.
Your CGPA is a credit-hour weighted average, not a simple average of your semester GPAs.
Each course contributes grade points × credit hours (its quality points) and your CGPA is
the total quality points divided by the total credit hours attempted.
This is why a 4-credit course moves your CGPA roughly four times as much as a 1-credit lab, and why averaging your semester GPAs directly gives the wrong answer whenever your credit load varies between semesters.
GIKI assigns grade points per credit and calculates GPA as weighted grade points divided by credits. I and W are excluded from GPA. A semester GPA below 2.00 triggers academic probation.
