Calculate your cumulative CGPA on Gomal University's own 4-point scale, weighted by credit hours. Your entries stay in your browser.
Your CGPA is a credit-hour weighted average, not a simple average of your semester GPAs.
Each course contributes grade points × credit hours (its quality points) and your CGPA is
the total quality points divided by the total credit hours attempted.
This is why a 4-credit course moves your CGPA roughly four times as much as a 1-credit lab, and why averaging your semester GPAs directly gives the wrong answer whenever your credit load varies between semesters.
Gomal University publishes marks-to-grade ranges, a 4.0 framework, two-decimal GPA/CGPA rounding and minimum qualifying CGPAs of 2.00 for BS and 2.50 for MS/MPhil/MSc (Hons). The official table also describes B+/B/C+/C/D+/D as numerical grade ranges rather than one fixed point for every mark, so exact mark-based calculations should use the numerical grade earned.
