International Islamic University Islamabad marks to a fixed table. A needs 80% and above, and that threshold does not move with the strength of your cohort. Founded in 1980, it sits in Islamabad.
There are 8 grade tiers. 50 to 54.99% earns you D, worth 1 point, and that is the lowest grade carrying any points.
That percentage is the product of a formula, not of a regulation. The ×25 conversion (mathematical normalization; not an official conversion formula) maps 4.0 onto 100%, and it is only ever an approximation. No International Islamic University Islamabad-issued conversion formula was found.
One gap is worth flagging. What applies depends on your programme and intake. Consult the live regulation. A plausible invented figure would fit neatly and mislead completely.
Different intakes, different rules. If your transcript disagrees with the 8-grade table above, your transcript wins, and we would rather re-read the source than argue with it.

IIUI publishes a marks-to-grade-point table and programme-specific minimum CGPA requirements. The page notes that the grading system is subject to amendment, so cohort-specific rules should be checked before formal use.

Multiply each course grade point by its credit hours, add the quality points, then divide by the credits attempted. International Islamic University Islamabad weights by credit, so a 4-credit course moves your GPA more than a 1-credit lab.
IIUI’s published evaluation system maps 80% and above to A/4.00, then uses B+, B, C+, C, D+, D and F. The exact grading mode and any relative/absolute distinction are shown in the Gradometer record.
Only when the university or receiving authority publishes an accepted conversion for the relevant purpose. Gradometer treats CGPA × 25 as mathematical normalization, not as an automatic official equivalence.
Your programme's rules take precedence. Check them at International Islamic University Islamabad rather than assuming the general case applies to you. The source document is linked at the top of this page if you want to read the original wording.
