Calculate your cumulative CGPA on The Islamia University of Bahawalpur's own 4-point scale, weighted by credit hours. Your entries stay in your browser.
Your CGPA is a credit-hour weighted average, not a simple average of your semester GPAs.
Each course contributes grade points × credit hours (its quality points) and your CGPA is
the total quality points divided by the total credit hours attempted.
This is why a 4-credit course moves your CGPA roughly four times as much as a 1-credit lab, and why averaging your semester GPAs directly gives the wrong answer whenever your credit load varies between semesters.
IUB publishes worked SGPA and CGPA formulas based on quality points divided by credit hours. The cited rules contain the grading table and a worked example showing the credit-weighted calculation.
