The official grade-to-point mapping, how it is applied, and where it comes from.
KIU uses a 4-point standard and publishes grade-point ranges within letter grades. The source says letter grades represent individual courses, while GPA/CGPA are numerical measures. Because some letters cover a range of grade points, this Gradometer record uses the displayed representative endpoint for letter-only planning; exact transcript calculations should use the numerical grade point recorded by KIU.

By credit weighting. Quality points per course are grade point times credits, and the KIU GPA is their sum over total credits attempted. The source document is linked at the top of this page if you want to read the original wording.
No, not unless the university or receiving authority explicitly accepts that conversion. Gradometer shows it only as a mathematical normalization where appropriate. If your department publishes something different, that version governs your transcript.
Generic tools guess at the scale. This one reads the KIU record we cite, which is the difference between an estimate and an answer. Check it against your own handbook before a deadline depends on the figure. Keep in mind that regulations are revised between intakes, so a rule that applied to the cohort above you may not apply to yours. The version in force when you enrolled is normally the one that governs.
