Calculate your cumulative CGPA on Riphah International University's own 4-point scale, weighted by credit hours. Your entries stay in your browser.
Your CGPA is a credit-hour weighted average, not a simple average of your semester GPAs.
Each course contributes grade points × credit hours (its quality points) and your CGPA is
the total quality points divided by the total credit hours attempted.
This is why a 4-credit course moves your CGPA roughly four times as much as a 1-credit lab, and why averaging your semester GPAs directly gives the wrong answer whenever your credit load varies between semesters.
The cited Riphah material uses percentage marks and variable point ranges for some letter bands. Riphah awards a sliding grade point inside most bands, adding 0.1 for each mark above the band minimum. The value stored here is the floor of each band. Relative grading may be used where a class has more than 20 students.
