Calculate your cumulative CGPA on University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences's own 4-point scale, weighted by credit hours. Your entries stay in your browser.
Your CGPA is a credit-hour weighted average, not a simple average of your semester GPAs.
Each course contributes grade points × credit hours (its quality points) and your CGPA is
the total quality points divided by the total credit hours attempted.
This is why a 4-credit course moves your CGPA roughly four times as much as a 1-credit lab, and why averaging your semester GPAs directly gives the wrong answer whenever your credit load varies between semesters.
UVAS publishes a DVM-specific grading structure: A=4 for 80–100, B=3 for 65–79, C=2 for 50–64, D=1 for 40–49 and F=0 below 40. The regulations also set programme-specific CGPA progression and degree requirements.
