IUT runs a 4-point scale topping out at A+. Grade points are published. The marks table behind them is not. The university sits in Gazipur and dates to 1981.
There are 10 grade tiers. Below D the course earns you nothing.
We have no usable conversion formula for IUT. Only examination-office equivalences are accepted.
IUT is recorded separately from Bangladesh national reference systems; programme rules should be checked before universal use. We leave it unstated rather than borrow a number from a comparable institution.
A department doing something slightly different is the common cause of a mismatch. The registrar decides when your version and ours disagree. Send the document over and we will fix this page.

Not unless IUT or the body receiving your application publishes that formula for your specific purpose. The multiplier is a convenience, and it carries no official standing.
