CECOS University grades on a curve, so the mark you see is not the grade you get. It is your rank within the class that fixes the letter. Peshawar, 1986.
The table runs to 11 grades. D (1 point) is the floor of the scoring range.
The figure below is arithmetic. No policy backs it. Multiplying CGPA by 25 (mathematical normalization; not an official conversion formula) rescales a 4-point figure. Treat the result as an estimate. No CECOS University-issued conversion formula was found.
An honest gap. That makes cross-university comparison of CECOS University letters unreliable, whatever an aggregator site tells you. Rules can vary by programme, degree level or cohort; consult the current official regulation before formal use, and no source we trust closes it yet.
The rules are not the same for every intake. If your transcript disagrees with the 11-grade table above, your transcript wins, and we would rather re-read the source than argue with it.

CECOS uses relative grading when 20 or more students appear in a course, with absolute grading otherwise; specified programs/cases use absolute grading. The official absolute table is 84.50+=A/4.00, then 79.50โ84.49 A-/3.67, descending to D/1.00 and F/0.00. Minimum qualifying CGPA for degree completion is 2.00.

Take each grade point, multiply by that course's credits, add them up, divide by the credits you attempted. That weighting is why a heavy course pulls harder at CECOS University than a light one.
Its 2024 undergraduate prospectus makes grading conditional on class size: relative grading applies when 20 or more students appear, while smaller classes use absolute grading; certain programs have their own exception. The exact grading mode and any relative/absolute distinction are shown in the Gradometer record.
Only when CECOS University or the receiving authority publishes an accepted conversion for the purpose at hand. Otherwise you are converting a verifiable figure into an unverifiable one.
Then that regulation wins. University-wide summaries are a starting point, and your CECOS University programme handbook is the authority. The linked source is where each grade point in that table came from.
