Calculate your cumulative CGPA on CECOS University's own 4-point scale, weighted by credit hours. Your entries stay in your browser.
Your CGPA is a credit-hour weighted average, not a simple average of your semester GPAs.
Each course contributes grade points × credit hours (its quality points) and your CGPA is
the total quality points divided by the total credit hours attempted.
This is why a 4-credit course moves your CGPA roughly four times as much as a 1-credit lab, and why averaging your semester GPAs directly gives the wrong answer whenever your credit load varies between semesters.
CECOS uses relative grading when 20 or more students appear in a course, with absolute grading otherwise; specified programs/cases use absolute grading. The official absolute table is 84.50+=A/4.00, then 79.50–84.49 A-/3.67, descending to D/1.00 and F/0.00. Minimum qualifying CGPA for degree completion is 2.00.
