The official grade-to-point mapping, how it is applied, and where it comes from.
UET Mardan normalizes marks against the highest mark in the class, then divides the normalized 50–100 range into ten intervals for D through A. Repeated-course grades are all reported but only the best grade is used in CGPA.

Take each grade point, multiply by that course's credits, add them up, divide by the credits you attempted. That weighting is why a heavy course pulls harder at Uo Engineering & Technology Mardan than a light one.
UET Mardan uses normalized marks: actual marks are scaled against the highest mark in the class and the normalized 50–100 range is divided into ten intervals from D through A. The exact grading mode and any relative/absolute distinction are shown in the Gradometer record.
Only when Uo Engineering & Technology Mardan or the receiving authority publishes an accepted conversion for the purpose at hand. Otherwise you are converting a verifiable figure into an unverifiable one. One practical note. If you are close to a threshold that decides funding or progression, get the number confirmed in writing before the deadline rather than after, because corrections after the fact are much harder to obtain.
Use the regulation for your programme and cohort. A general Uo Engineering & Technology Mardan page cannot capture every departmental exception. The linked source is where each grade point in that table came from.
