Calculate your cumulative CGPA on University of Management and Technology's own 4-point scale, weighted by credit hours. Your entries stay in your browser.
Your CGPA is a credit-hour weighted average, not a simple average of your semester GPAs.
Each course contributes grade points × credit hours (its quality points) and your CGPA is
the total quality points divided by the total credit hours attempted.
This is why a 4-credit course moves your CGPA roughly four times as much as a 1-credit lab, and why averaging your semester GPAs directly gives the wrong answer whenever your credit load varies between semesters.
The cited UMT handbook applies to graduate-level participants and states that grading is based on relative norms. It provides the 4.0 grade-point scale and excludes P, I, W, S, NC, AU and IP from ordinary grade-point calculation. UMT grades relatively and publishes grade points without percentage equivalents, so no band table exists to record.
